With local reports coming in on interest from the Netherlands for Orlando Pirates young star Relebohile Mofokeng, insiders close to the matter in Eindhoven have responded.
According to reports, Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven are believed to be preparing to offer around R120 million for the Bafana Bafana international.

There has been previous European interest in Mofokeng reportedly coming from Israel as well, but those advances are believed to have been turned down by the Soweto giants, for reported figures that are about four times less than the PSV amount.
Pirates had not made an official comment as to whether the reported amounts of around R30 million were too low from the likes of Maccabi Tel Aviv. Though, at the time, Bucs insiders told the Siya crew that there was no interest from Israel in their player, despite multiple other media reporting the news.
Now, sources close to PSV, speaking exclusively to Soccer Laduma, have indicated that there is no offer from them on the table for the 20-year-old winger yet. Though it remains to be seen if an offer could come in later during the transfer window.
Pirates have recently concluded a deal for Mohau Nkota to make a move to Saudi Pro League club Al Ettifaq and it also remains to be seen if they are going to lose another key winger in the same transfer window.

Indications are that Mofokeng is keen on a move abroad, but Pirates hold the key in this situation. Mofokeng's father, Sechaba Mofokeng, has spoken out about the family's desire to see the youngster making a move abroad.
Soccer Laduma contacted Pirates for comment on PSV's reported interest in Mofokeng, but there was no official response by the time of publishing. The club has since chosen to instead deny the local reports on social media.
