Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Thabo Cele has given his opinion on the arrival of the new signings at Naturena, and is confident that the positivity in the camp is not fake.
Amakhosi announced the signings of Ethan Chislett, Flavio Silva, Nkanyiso Shinga, Thabiso Monyane, Paseka Mako and Siphesihle Ndlovu ahead of the new campaign. The club is hoping to welcome Asanele Velebayi and Luke Baartman from Cape Town Spurs, but their case is current being heard by the PSL Dispute Resolution Chamber.

Cele feels that the new signings understand the mission at hand and believes they will add value.
"It was important for the new guys to come in. We know that they are quality and they are going to add value to our team and we need them. Seeing what I see, I feel like they also understand the mission at hand. There is positivity around the team. Not fake positivity. I feel that it's real," Cele said via the Amakhosi media department.
"We played some tough games in the Netherlands and I feel we were tested. True tests is where you really see the team, so I feel like in those tests we became more together. We know the mission of this season."

After their tour of the Netherlands, Amakhosi are set to take Ghanaian outfit Asante Kotoko in the Toyota Cup, the second edition of the pre-season match.
"I haven't' seen a lot from the team we are going to play. From what I hear, they are a big team, so we are expecting a difficult match. It's an important one for us because it feels like we have started the season. We feel like we have to win this game and put on a good display for our fans and set the tone for our season. So, it's an important match for us.
