Kaizer Chiefs have quite a few players who have entered the final year of their contracts, meaning the upcoming season will be a big one for them in terms of trying to secure new deals.
Amakhosi are still finalising their squad ahead of the season, with more exits and incomings set to be confirmed before the close of the transfer window.

There are players who will be going into the 2025/26 campaign knowing very well that they need to deliver, if they have any hope of staying longer at Naturena. These are players who have one year remaining on their contracts, so top performances will be of utmost importance throughout the campaign to give themselves a chance of earning new deals.
While some of the players have a year to run on their deals, there is no guarantee yet that they will see out their contracts.

Chiefs, meanwhile, will be involved in Toyota Cup action this weekend at Moses Mabhida Stadium. They take on Ghanaian outfit Asante Kotoko, as coach Nasreddine Nabi will get another opportunity to see how ready his troops are for what's expected to be a demanding season.
