The story

The excitement for Saturday's Toyota Cup is reaching fever pitch as the Glamour Boys fulfilled some sponsorship duties as they prepare to face Ghana's Asante Kotoko (15:00 kick-off).

Amakhosi's visit to Toyota's Prospecton plant, in Durban South, was organised as part of the official build-up activities ahead of Saturday's match, bringing together Amakhosi and Toyota employees.

As mentioned by the club's press release shared on their website, over 4,000 Toyota employees gathered in excitement as the Glamour Boys brought the factory floor to life with cheers and heartfelt interactions.

The visit not only symbolised the strong relationship between Toyota and Kaizer Chiefs, but also the sheer support the club receives from football fans in Durban.

Amakhosi brought along their Nedbank Cup trophy and allowed Toyota's workers to pose with the silverware.

"There was great energy, and thank you to Toyota for organising this event at the plant," said Kaizer Chiefs Marketing and Commercial Director, Jessica Motaung.

"It has been wonderful to visit the thousands of supporters elated to see the team and celebrate the Nedbank Cup victory, and it motivates us as we go into the Toyota Cup this weekend," added Chiefs' marketing guru.
