Despite doubts about his future at the club with reported mixed feelings from the board and management, the Kaizer Chiefs head coach is believed to be joining the team for their upcoming European pre-season camp.
The tactician, Nasreddine Nabi, whose position has been under scrutiny following a disappointing league campaign, appears set to continue his project at least through the crucial preparation period ahead of next season.

As previously reported by Soccer Laduma, Amakhosi are expected to go to Europe again for their pre-season training and their under-fire coach is apparently going to join them there.
"For now, we know that the coach will be joining the team on the pre-season tour and camp. Yes, to a certain extent we say say his future is not yet clear but for the pre-season training I am certain he will apparently be joining them. He has suggested some players who he would like to sign and he has to be there to see that happen. That's where things are believed to be right now," the insider told the Siya crew.
Meanwhile a second insider stated that the players are set to return back to the Village for pre-season at the end of June.
"The players have apparently been given about four weeks and then they are expected back for pre-season at the end of June. They are looking at having six weeks pre-season before their first game of the season. But because the team is not in the MTN8 then they may have more weeks on top of the six weeks they have programmed for pre-season. Everything is already planned," the second insider revealed.

This will be Nabi's second pre-season with the team as he joined the team to Turkey at the beginning of last season.
Soccer Laduma contacted Chiefs for official comment on the situation but there was no response at the time of publishing.
This development suggests a degree of continuity at Chiefs despite the pressure surrounding Nabi following their ninth-place league finish. The Tunisian mentor, who ended the club's decade-long trophy drought with Nedbank Cup success, appears to have earned enough credit to oversee another pre-season campaign.
With CAF Confederation Cup football secured for next season, this European tour takes on added significance as the club prepares for continental competition. The additional preparation time afforded by their absence from the MTN8 could prove valuable for implementing Nabi's tactical vision and integrating new signings, potentially setting the foundation for a more consistent 2025/26 campaign across all competitions.
