Surprise Change For Chiefs Upfront?

Surprise Change For Chiefs Upfront?

Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi.

Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi could make a change or two to his starting line-up as Amakhosi take on their next assignment in the Betway Premiership.

Second-placed Amakhosi are unbeaten in the Premiership so far this season, keeping four clean sheets in as many matches. A few of their new signings have settled in quickly and this has played an important role in them starting well. They take on Golden Arrows at Moses Mabhida Stadium today, eager to collect maximum points on the road.

Brandon Petersen is expected to start in goal, with Thabiso Monyane, Inacio Miguel, Zitha Kwinika and Paseka Mako set to play as the back four in front of the goalkeeper.

Mako started his first match for Amakhosi in midweek against Mamelodi Sundowns and may have done enough to keep his place there ahead of Bradley Cross. Kwinika came on as a substitute for injured Aden McCarthy almost a fortnight ago against Richards Bay and is working hard to keep his place in the starting line-up with solid performances.

Nabi is spoilt for choice in midfield. Sibongiseni Mthethwa is slowing rediscovering his best form and looks set to start as the defensive midfield, with Thabo Cele and Mduduzi Shabalala joining him.

Possible line-up: Petersen, Monyane, Miguel, Kwinika, Mako, Mthethwa, Cele, Shabalala, Mmodi, Lilepo, Silva
