The story
Midfield maestro Sipho Mbule made an instant connection with the Happy People after his first game as a Buccaneer Es'godini.
The talented Mbule is looking to revive his career at the Buccaneers after a series of off-field setbacks, which resulted in him being released by Masandawana at the end of last season.
Affectionately known as the "Master Chef", Mbule joined the Bucs in June and had a memorable debut on Saturday at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto alongside Sihle Nduli in the middle of the park.
He featured for 70 minutes as the Soweto giants booked a semi-final spot in the MTN8 after beating Polokwane City FC 2-0, thanks to goals by Oswin Appollis and Patrick Maswanganyi.
After the full-time whistle was blown, Mbule was seen taking photos and engaging with Bucs fans, both young and old, as they chanted "Weh Mbule!"
