The story
The "Ronwen 30 Foundation" gave back in a big way as youngsters from Williams' hometown were treated to a special experience — watching Mamelodi Sundowns up close during a training session in Gqeberha.
Ahead of their Betway Premiership opener against Chippa United, the Brazilians trained at the multipurpose Gelvandale Stadium, offering the youngsters from Ronza's foundation, some of whom are likely to be aspiring footballers, a rare behind-the-scenes look at how top-tier professionals prepare for matchday.
Hometown hero Williams made sure the children from his foundation had front-row seats to the action and was seen signing autographs for them in a clip shared by the Bafana Bafana captain's foundation's Instagram page.
The initiative not only served as an exercise to inspire the next generation but also strengthened the bond between Williams and his community.
