The story
Kaizer Chiefs legend Itumeleng Khune and his partner, Siphelele, recently enjoyed a relaxing getaway in Zimbabwe, where they took in the natural beauty of the iconic Victoria Falls.
The couple appeared to make the most of their time away, with Siphelele sharing photos of their scenic helicopter ride over a remote area, giving fans a glimpse of their dreamy adventure to SA's neighbours.
The retreat seemed to be a perfect mix of leisure and exploration for the long-serving Amakhosi goalkeeper, who, judging by his social media activity, relished the short trip.
During their visit, Khune and Siphelele also made an appearance at a youth football tournament held in Bulawayo.
They joined former Chiefs midfield enforcer and Zimbabwe Warriors great, Willard Katsande, adding star power to the event, and handed out medals and trophies during an awards ceremony after the tournament.
The trip not only offered a break from the spotlight but also allowed the couple to explore one of Southern Africa's most sought-after tourist attractions, having stayed on the banks of the Zambezi River at the picturesque Old Drift Lodge, less than five kilometres away from Vic Falls.
