The Confederation of African Football (CAF) have confirmed financial boosts for clubs participating in the Champions League and Confederation Cup preliminary rounds.
The draw for both competitions were made in in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania on Saturday as teams across the African continent discovered their path to the group stages.

CAF have already confirmed that teams that are eliminated in the first two rounds of the Champions League and Confederation Cup will receive $100,000 (R1.7million).
"This season, teams eliminated in the first two rounds will each receive USD 100,000 to assist with logistical costs, as CAF continues its strategy of encouraging broader participation and competitive balance across the continent," CAF confirmed on their website.
"The road to the 2025/26 title will begin with the Preliminary Round between 19–21 September (first leg) and 26–28 September (second leg)."
South African duo Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs will be competing in the preliminary round for the Champions League and Confederation Cup respectively.
