Former Orlando Pirates attacker Mohau Nkota appears to have questioned the tactical approach of newly appointed coach Abdeslam Ouaddou following the Moroccan’s first two games in charge.

Nkota, who spent pre-season under Ouaddou before leaving to join Saudi Arabian side El Ettifaq, shared his thoughts during an interview with Metro FM’s Sports Night Amplified With Andile.
The 45-year-old tactician made a bright start to life at Pirates with a convincing MTN8 quarter-final win over Polokwane City, but his first Betway Premiership outing ended in disappointment with a 1-0 defeat to Sekhukhune United.
Since taking over, Ouaddou has made sweeping changes in a bid to integrate the club’s 13 new signings. However, Nkota’s comments suggest the coach may need to revisit his current starting XI, particularly in the middle of the park.
“I think most of the time they play the ball at the back,” said Nkota.
“I think man, the coach should shuffle man. He must shuffle, he must shuffle the midfield man. You have a lot of players man, in the midfield, because there’s a big game coming ahead of them," referring to the MTN8 semi-final against Mamelodi Sundowns.
“I think for me, you have a lot of quality on the bench and even up there on the stands.”
