The story
Pirates' "Giants" docu-series captured a heartfelt moment of camaraderie between teammates Zakhele Lepasa and Thabiso Sesane, as Lepasa offered his support to Sesane during his recovery from a serious injury.
This emotional scene highlighted the deep bond shared among the Buccaneers beyond the pitch. Sunday's episode three delved into how Olisa Ndah, Zakhele Lepasa and Thabiso Sesane navigated their long-term injury spells last season.
Lepasa reassured Sesane to trust the process of his rehabilitation, as the 25-year-old centre-back continues to recover from a season-ending ruptured tendon injury.
Sesane was ruled out for up to six months following the serious injury, which required surgery, after sustaining the brutal knock in February during Pirates' 2-1 league win over Sekhukhune United.
