Shauwn "MaMkhize" Mkhize is back in the football business after taking over as the new president of Mbabane Highlanders, renaming the outfit Mbabane Highlanders AM Football Club
MaMkhize was unveiled as the leader of the eSwatini giants over the weekend, stating that she's ready to lead with integrity and adding "AM" to the club's name is to connect her family to the team.
The flamboyant businesswoman Shauwn 'MaMkhize' Mkhize shared footage of her unveiling as club president of Mbabane Highlanders AM Football Club, at a glittering function in Eswatini that saw MaMkhize accompanied by her entourage and family, including her son, Andile Mpisane and his wife Tamia.
MaMkhize revealed a rebranded club crest at the launch, adding the gold colours of her former PSL club Royal AM onto the black and white colours of Highlanders, showcasing more unity between her family's brand and the club.
As per the Daily Sun, MaMkhize did not purchase the club, as she was given a three-year contract to run the team.
