FC Barcelona clinched the Copa del Rey title after beating Athletic Bilbao 3-1 at the Camp Nou, thanks to a brace from Lionel Messi and a solitary strike from Neymar.
The Catalans had the ball in the back of net after just 10 minutes but Neymar's fine finish had been ruled out, as he was in an offside position.
Luis Suarez could have given Barcelona the lead two minutes later, the striker collected a pass from Messi before forcing Iago Herrein into a fine low save.
Barcelona eventually broke the deadlock in the 20th minute, as Lionel Messi dribbled past a few Bilbao defenders, before firing in at Herrerin's near post.
The lead was nearly doubled in the 26th minute when Luis Suarez picked out Neymar in the box, but Herrerin was on hand to make a fine save to deny the Brazilian.
Neymar eventually got his name on the score-sheet in the 36th minute, as Ivan Rakitic played in Suarez, who teed up Barcelona's number 11 for the easiest of tap-ins.
Bilbao nearly reduced the deficit just before the halftime break, as as Iraola floated a fine pass towards Inaki Williams, who struck the the upright with a first-time volley.
Suarez nearly got his name on the score-sheet in the 57th minute but Etxeita put in a fine tackle to deny the Uruguayan a certain strike at goal.
Luis Enrique's side managed to add a third in 74th minute, as Dani Alves broke clear down right, before lashing a cross into the six-yard area, which Messi turned home at the near post.
Bilbao eventually reduced the deficit in the 80th minute, as Inaki Williams headed home from six-yards out, after getting on the end of Ibai Gomez's cross.
Substitute Xavi Hernandez came close to getting his name on the score-sheet in stoppage time, as his curling free-kick crashed on to the upright.
Nonetheless, the score remained 3-1 at the full-time whistle, as Barcelona went to lift their second trophy this season.
