The Only Two Clubs Osimhen Wants 'Revealed'

The Only Two Clubs Osimhen Wants 'Revealed'

Only two teams are reportedly in contention to sign Napoli and Nigeria star Victor Osimhen.

Victor Osimhen is perhaps one of the most sought-after strikers in world football at the moment, but the Nigeria international is reportedly only willing to join two clubs this off-season.

This past season, the Super Eagle catapulted himself to unreal heights as he bagged 31 goals in 39 games for Napoli to help the Serie A giants capture their first league title in over three decades.

His willingness to press on defence coupled with his eye for goal have made him a formidable attacker and seemingly a top priority for many of Europe's top clubs.

Many teams are believed to have made their interest in the Lagos-born attacker known, but according to ex-Gli Azzurri and Italy midfielder Salvatore Bagni, there are only two sides the pacey forward would be open to joining this off-season, ruling out the likes of Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain in the race for Osimhen's signature.

"Victor Osimhen won't return to France because he already played there," the 66-year-old said, as per Tutto Napoli.

"He doesn't go to Liverpool or Chelsea because they do not play in the Champions League.

"Of all the teams associated with him, for me, he would only go to Manchester United and Real Madrid. He's not interested in the other teams."

Both the Red Devils and Los Blancos are said to be in the market for an elite striker, but with the newly crowned Italian champions rumoured to have placed a €180 million (R3.7 billion) price tag on the Nigerian, it appears unlikely either of those teams would table such a lofty offer.
