Following his transfer to Real Madrid, Eden Hazard reportedly became the club's highest-paid player, but where does he rank among the world's top earning stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar and Lionel Messi?

Hazard joined Los Blancos for a whopping €100 million (R1.61 billion) plus a massive package of add-ons in the beginning of June.

According to the Independent, the Belgium superstar put pen-to-paper on a five-year deal, which will see him earn £400 000 (R7.2 million) per week.

As a consequence he overtook Gareth Bale as the highest-paid Real star, with the Welshman believed to be pocketing weekly wages of £350 000 (R6.3 million) in basic salary, excluding add-ons.
