Watford forward Odion Ighalo has scored more league goals in 2015 than Real Madrid talisman Cristiano Ronaldo and FC Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi.

The Nigerian forward, who plays in the English Championship with Watford, has recently surpassed some of the biggest names in football as the player with the most league goals in this calendar year.
The 25-year-old's 14-goal league tally in 2015 means that he has scored more goals than Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, Harry Kane and Diego Costa.
The former Granada player is nearing 50-career goals in his professional career, with just two more goals needed for that landmark to be reached.
