The Brazilian netted his 95th goal for the Catalan giants during the club's 6-0 rout of Alaves on Saturday, one more than Ronaldinho did for the Blaugrana, according to FourFourTwo.
While the 36-year-old needed six seasons to achieve his tally, Neymar bettered his compatriot's record in just three and a half campaigns.
This season, however, Neymar has only six La Liga goals to his name so far – his teammate Lionel Messi sits on 17 strikes, one behind Luis Suarez.
The Uruguayan, meanwhile, netted his 109th goal for the club after netting a brace on Saturday.
Suarez now sits in 13th position in Barcelona's all-time scoring rankings, equalling his coach Luis Enrique's tally – he also netted 109 goals for the club, between 1996 and 2004.
Messi was also among the goalscorers against Alaves, and took his overall tally for the campaign to 32 strikes in as many games.
