Luis Enrique Claims Lionel Messi Is Better Than Cristiano Ronaldo

The former Spanish midfielder also told the press that he doesn't believe that his job is on the line in the Copa Del Rey clash with Atletico Madrid tonight.

"I don't have the feeling that my neck is on the line in the cup game against Atlético," he told Marca.

"It will be tough for us; they're a team to be afraid of in two matches."

He went on to say that the cup tie will be different to the league game, where his team beat the Spanish champions 3-1.

"For me, (the two games) are two different things," he added. "It's even more difficult when you have two games to play.

"I don't know how Atlético are going to play it. I expect they will remain faithful to their style of playing the game. They are powerful in all areas. We must be intense and aggressive.

He then added his opinion on the on-going debate about who the best player in the world is,"On a footballing level, Ronaldo is below Messi."

Barcelona take on Atletico Madrid tonight at 23:00 in the Camp Nou.
