He sits on 20 goals after 12 game weeks, having missed one game, and if he continues at this rate he will end up with 63 goals and break Messi's record for most goals in a single campaign.
But Ronaldo doesn't only outscore his rivals like Lionel Messi and Neymar, he has also scored more than some of Europe's elite clubs like Manchester United (19), Inter (18), Liverpool (14) and Borussia Dortmund (14).
The 29-year-old outscored 75 percent of the clubs in Europe's top five leagues with only the following teams bettering his goal return:
La Liga: Only Barcelona (30), Valencia (24) and Atletico Madrid (23) have scored more than Ronaldo.
Premier League: Only Chelsea (30), Manchester City (24), Southampton (23) and Everton (22) have scored more than the Portuguese, while Arsenal are level with him on 20 goals.
Bundesliga: Only Bayern Munich (31) and Wolfsburg (28) can top Ronaldo's rates.
Serie A: Only champions Juventus (28), Napoli (23), Roma, Lazio and Milan (21) are beating Ronaldo's total.
Ligue 1: French sides have played 14 games already, but still, just Marseille (30), Paris Saint-Germain (28), Lyon (27) and Bordeaux (21) have exceeded the 20-goal mark.
