According to Football Insider, the Red Devils are ready to move both Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof on upon the conclusion of the current campaign.
Maguire, 30, has battled to re-establish himself in the side as a regular starter after falling out of favour under head coach Erik ten Hag earlier this season.
The England centre-back started in United's defeats to Brighton Hove Albion and Brentford in their first two matches this term, and has since played just three full games in the Premier League.
Lindelof, meanwhile, has suffered as a result of Lisandro Martinez's arrival from Ajax Amsterdam, with the Argentine and France defender Raphael Varane being Ten Hag's preferred pairing in central defence.
The Sweden international's contract in England expires in 2024, meaning the club could be looking to bring money in for his signature.
United are said to be planning to allow both players to leave to make way for a new defensive signing, amid rumours that Napoli's Kim Min-Jae is a potential target.
