Man Utd 'Make Decision' On Sancho's Future

Manchester United have reportedly made a decision regarding Jadon Sancho's future.

Manchester United have reportedly come to a decision regarding big-money signing Jadon Sancho's future at the club.

After an almost two-year pursuit of the attacker, the Red Devils finally landed the England international from Borussia Dortmund for €85 million (R1.7 billion) at the beginning of last season.

In the Bundesliga, the winger shone as he scored 50 goals and created 64 assists during his time at Signal Iduna Park, but since making his return to England, the London native has failed to replicate that form.

Sancho has managed to find the back of the net only 10 times in 70 appearances for the Mancunians so far, and while there have been rumblings of discontent because of the forward's lack of output, CBS Sport journalist Ben Jacobs claims the Premier League giants will not be looking to cash in on the 23-year-old in the upcoming transfer window.

"I know we've heard a lot of rumours about Manchester United potentially cashing in somehow, in order to generate funds because they're obviously looking for quite a big outlay, particularly with a more defined forward. But I don't think that's the case [that Sancho will be sold], at this point," Jacobs told GIVEMESPORT.

"Sancho has been given a clear challenge to get consistent game time, stay fit and get back to his best and live up to his price tag.

"And then after a slightly longer period of time and balanced against any other incomings in and around his position, things will be assessed once again."

While Sancho may not be transfer-listed this time around, Ten Hag will be looking to sell several other squad members once the 2022/23 campaign draws to a close, with the likes of Brandon Williams, Anthony Martial and Harry Maguire potentially set for an exit.
