According to Daily Mail, the 21-year-old has reciprocated the interest to move to Stamford Bridge, and the clubs are working on negotiations.
The Red Devils had reportedly wanted £70m for Garnacho but reduced their asking price to £50m in the hope of securing his exit before the end of the transfer window.
As uncertainty lingers, the eight-time capped Argentine international has reportedly told the club to arrange his move to The Blues or he will not play football for the next year.
Fabrizio Romano revealed that Chelsea have stepped up their pursuit of Garnacho as personal terms have reportedly been agreed on already.
