Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly preparing to announce two high-profile arrivals this week, with one of those players having been pinched from Barcelona's clutches.
Departing Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum was said to be close to sealing a move to the Catalan giants last week, but has instead chosen to join Mauricio Pochettino in Paris.
This is according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who has suggested that the Dutchman has been offered a bigger salary in France, while Barcelona had only one proposal on the table from which they would not move.
PSG could officially announce the 30-year-old's arrival at the Parc des Princes this week, with it being reported that he has already put pen to paper on a deal ahead of the 2020 UEFA European Championship.
That, however, is not the only business the French giants are looking to finalise this week, with Italy international Gianluigi Donnarumma believed to be nearing a move to the club too.
The 22-year-old is set to rival Costa Rica goalkeeper Keylor Navas for the No. 1 position and has reportedly requested the No. 99 jersey.
PSG are set to complete the signing of Gianluigi Donnarumma in the next hours, Juventus are out of the race - he’s gonna ask Paris for n99 shirt. To be clear: Keylor Navas is staying. ?????? #PSG
