Carlo Ancelotti's club successfully landed the signatures of Antonio Rudiger and Aurelien Tchouameni in July, with the former arriving on a free transfer from Chelsea and the latter from Monaco in a deal with €80 million (R1.3 billion).
It is reported that Tchouameni, 22, turned down an opportunity to earn double at Paris Saint-Germain what he is paid at Los Blancos, where he is believed to be on an annual salary of €3.6 million (R60.8 million) after deductions.
Rudiger, meanwhile, immediately became one of the highest earners in the Spanish capital with a yearly wage of €9 million (R152.2 million), which means he is seventh on the list of Real's 10 best-paid players.
With his latest five-year contract renewal, Brazil winger Vinicius Junior has climbed the ranking to become the LaLiga giants' fifth biggest earner, above more experienced players such as goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois and Luka Modric.
