At just 17 years old, Lamine Yamal has already enjoyed a successful career in only his second full season. The La Masia academy product won La Liga, Copa Del Rey and the Supercopa Espana in the 2024/25 season, following on from his UEFA Euro 2024 victory with Spain.
However, there are two notable omissions from his trophy cabinet - the UEFA Champions League and FIFA World Cup. Kooora reported Yamal from the "Barcelona Inside' documentary where he revealed his ambitions going into the 2025/26 season.
"At 18, I want everything I achieved at 16 and 17, plus the one title I’m missing—the Champions League—and also the World Cup," Yamal said.
The documentary covers an inside view of Barcelona's outstanding season under coach Hansi Flick and the Spanish international said there was still room for growth in his game.
"Because of my age, I’ll improve every year. My body is still growing, and the gap between me and other players will become clearer. I’ll feel more comfortable on the pitch,” he said.
Yamal admitted the Supercopa Espana victory over Real Madrid at the start of the season was the defining factor for the remainder of the season.
"Beating Real Madrid in the final gave the team a big boost. If we had lost to them at the start of the year, it would have made things very difficult. That win was huge for us," he said.
He revealed that the clashes against Real Madrid were his toughest games last season but was happy with his contributions.

"Helping the team against Real Madrid is always special. It’s something you dream about as a kid. This team is highly competitive—we’ve proven that," he concluded.
