Guardiola Keen On Bayern Return? Agent Responds

With Bayern Munich struggling to find a successor for the outgoing Thomas Tuchel, a return to the club for Pep Guardiola has been mooted, and a representative from his agency has clarified whether or not he will leave Manchester City for the German giants.

Earlier this year, the Bavarian side announced that their German tactician would be parting ways with the club come the end of the campaign.

Since then, the record Bundesliga winners have been linked with Bayer Leverkusen's Xabi Alonso, German national team boss and former Bayern manager Julian Nagelsmann. as well as Austrian national team head coach Ralf Rangnick.

All of them have, however, chosen to stay in their respective positions rather than take on the task of leading the two-time treble-winning institution.

Over the past few hours, rumours of a possible return to the Allianz Arena for Guardiola have surfaced.

With the Spaniard's contract at the Etihad Stadium running until the end of next season, a representative from his agency Tacticgrup has addressed the speculation pertaining to a possible return to the club.

"Pep has Bayern in his heart, but he doesn't want to leave Manchester City this summer. He's very happy and has a contract until 2025. A return to Bayern is not an option," the agent told Sky Sports.

The 53-year-old was previously in charge of the German outfit from 2013 to 2016, during which he won seven titles in total.
