According to Football Insider, the 25-year-old would prefer to remain at the Reds.
This is despite interest from 15-time UEFA Champions League winners Los Blancos, who are monitoring his future amid the uncertainty surrounding his contract situation.
Alexander-Arnold has less than a year remaining on his deal at Anfield and rumours suggest he has not yet been formally offered an extension.
It has since been claimed that the right-back sees himself at Liverpool for a long time despite reports stating his England colleague Jude Bellingham has been pressing for him to join him in Spain.
Arne Slot, meanwhile, has been coy in response to the talk over Alexander-Arnold's future, but has said he loves having the creative defender in his team.
An academy product at the Reds, Alexander-Arnold has appeared 316 times for Liverpool since his debut, contributing to 102 goals in the process.
