Ivory Coast and Chelsea legend Didier Drobga has confirmed that he will not retire from football at the end of this season.
Mourinho Snubs Benni For His All-Time XI
The Ivorian, who made his return to Chelsea at the start of the current campaign, only has one-year contract at the Blues and his future is very unclear, as there have been no talks of a new contract.
The 37-year-old insists that he will not retire from the game at the end of this season, even though he hasn't played much since re-joining the Blues.
"I have made a decision, it's not my last season," said Drogba, as quoted by the Daily Mail.
The veteran has been the third choice striker at Stamford Bridge this season, after manager Jose Mourinho brought in Diego Costa and Loic Remy.
Drogba has admitted that he is finding it hard sitting on the bench, but insists that he is willing to help the team in any way possible when called upon.
"It's difficult when you don't play and then have to go into these kind of games. But I try to give my best," he added.
"I tried to give the best of my physical capacity against QPR, so if the manager needs me I'm ready."
Drogba has made 376 appearances for the Blues so far and has scored 163 goals, while assisting in 88 more.
