New Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann has responded to reports linking the club with a move for one of Italy's star performers at the 2020 UEFA European Championship.
Federico Chiesa played a starring role in the Italy attack as they clinched their second European Championship title on Sunday night against England.
Premier League outfit Liverpool are reportedly keen on the attacker, with Calciomercato reporting that the Reds or any potential suitor would need to splash out at least €90 million (R1.5 billion) for his signature.
There has been speculation Bundesliga champions Bayern could make a move for the Juventus forward, but it seems the 23-year-old's price tag is out of the club's range.
"He's a top player, with incredible drive. I've known him for a long time and I find him exceptional because he often goes for a one-on-one, he tries to shoot very fast."
Chiesa registered an impressive 15 goals and 11 assists in the 2020/21 campaign for Juve, while he also netted twice at the recent European Championship with Italy.
