Schalke's poor run of results in 2020 continued after losing 1-0 to relegation-threatened Werder Bremen on home soil.

Leonardo Bittencourt broke the deadlock in the 32nd minute, which proved to be the only goal of the game as Bremen moved to within two points of 16th-placed Fortuna Dusselfdorf.

Schalke, meanwhile, have dropped to 10th spot as a result, with their winless run in the Bundesliga extended to 11 matches.

Wolfsburg's failed maintain sixth spot in the Bundesliga standings after a 2-1 loss to Eintracht Frankfurt.

Andre Silva opened the scoring for the visitors with his second goal in as many matches in the 27th minute.

Wolfsburg were back on level terms in the 58th minute through Kevin Mbabu's second league goal of the campaign.

However, the visitors secured the winning goal with five minutes left in the contest thanks to Daichi Kamada.

Hetha Berlin got back to winning ways after squeezing past Augsburg at the Olympiastadion Berlin.

Javairô Dilrosun bagged the game's opening goal of the game in the 23rd minute with his third goal of the season before Krzysztof Piatek sealed the win in second-half stoppage time.
