Bayern Munich celebrated their ninth successive Bundesliga title with a 6-0 victory over Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday evening.

With the title confirmed following RB Leipzig's loss at Borussia Dortmund early on, the Bavarians pulled out the tried and tested like goalkeeper Manuel Neuer and Robert Lewandowski.
The perfect start followed two minutes in when a move down the left-hand side from David Alaba released Lewandowski who took control to apply a low finish past goalkeeper Yann Sommer.
Lewandowski cautioned a double in quick succession following a floating delivery into the area, but the Polish marksman went over the top as Gladbach battled to get stuck into the clash.
Bayern did made it two midway in the first half courtesy of a rasping shot from Thomas Muller following smart build-up which involved amongst others Jamal Musiala.
Lewandowski added a brace 12 minutes before halftime with a close-range finish beyond Sommer after following up on a headed attempt that deflected slightly from target.
The Pole turned from scorer to provider a minute to the interval when he delivered a cutback across the left-side for Kingsley Coman to send a low shot past Sommer.
Gladbach threw on fresh faces following halftime, with Alassane Plea in for Marcus Thuram and Hannes Wolf introduced ahead of Valentino Lazaro.
Lewandowski targeted a hat-trick minutes after the restart, but he directed a header off target as Plea directed a low attempt near the area wide of the mark.
The former did go on and got a hat-trick from the penalty spot midway through the second half following a foul by Florian Neuhaus.
Bayern ended the rest of the match with ten players as Tanguy Nianzou walked the plank for a poor challenge.
However, that didn't stop the champions from making it six as Leroy Sane finished off a cleverly worked move late on to put Gladbach out of their misery.
