Bundesliga Final Day Wrap: Robert Lewandowski Breaks Bundesliga

Bayern Munich 5-2 Augsburg

Bayern Munich ended the Bundesliga season on a winning note with a 5-2 victory over Augsburg.

A Jeffrey Gouweleeuw own goal and some impressive finishes by Serge Gnabry, Joshua Kimmich, Kingsley Coman and Robert Lewandowski sealed the win for the champions.

Andre Hahn and Florian Niederlechner bagged goals for Augsburg.

Lewandowski now holds the record for most goals in a single Bundesliga campaign with his solitary strike taking his tally to 41.

Borussia Dortmund 3-1 Bayer Leverkusen

Borussia Dortmund won 3-1 against Bayer Leverkusen, with Erling Haaland playing a starring role.

Haaland bagged a brace to move above the 40-goal mark for the season while Marco Reus scored for the Borussians before Lars Bender pulled a consolation goal back.

Dortmund end the season in third position, while Bayer finish in sixth.

VfB Stuttgart 0-2 Arminia Bielefeld

Arminia Bielefeld won 2-0 against VfB Stuttgart.

Fabian Klos netted from the penalty spot in the 66th minute before Ritsu Doan doubled the lead six minutes later.

Stuttgart end in ninth, while Arminia just avoid the relegation playoff spot.

Werder Bremen 2-4 Borussia Monchengladbach

Borussia Monchengladbach claimed an impressive 4-2 victory over Werder Bremen, who have now been relegated.

Lars Stindl, Marcus Thuram, Ramy Bensebaini and Florian Neuhas got on the scoresheet for the visitors, while Milat Rashica and Niclas Fullkrug netted for the hosts.

Werder are relegated as a result as Monchengladbach take eighth spot.

Union Berlin 2-1 RB Leipzig

RB Leipzig ended their season with a 2-1 defeat away to Union Berlin on Saturday afternoon.

Marvin Friedrich and Max Kruse struck for the men from the capital, while Justin Kluivert bagged a goal for Julian Nagelsmann's side.

As a result, Leipzig pip Dortmund to second spot while the Berliners take seventh.

Wolfsburg 2-3 Mainz

Wolfsburg clinched the final UEFA Champions League spot despite suffering a 3-2 loss to Mainz.

Maximillian Phillip and Joao Victor got themselves among the goals for the Wolves, while Jean-Paul Boetius, Robin Quaison and Stefan Bell were on target for Mainz.

Wolfsburg take the last Champions League spot, while Mainz finish the season in 11th position.

Koln 1-0 Schalke

Koln have another chance at survival after getting the better of Schalke with a 1-0 win.

Sebastiaan Bornauw scored the only goal of the game four minutes from time.

Koln end up in the relegation playoff spot, while Schalke are long relegated.
