Former Orlando Pirates boss Josef Zinnbauer has reportedly been shortlisted by Egyptian giants Zamalek as their new coach.

The White Castle has been searching for a new coach after parting ways with Portuguese tactician Jose Peseiro in April.
Ayman El-Ramady took over as interim coach to steady the ship and led the club to victory over Pyramids FC in the Egyptian Cup final.
According to Zahraa, Media personality Khaled Al-Ghandour said the Zamalek board is reportedly set to announce the new head coach in due time after it was decided El-Ramady will not take over as permanent coach ahead of next season.
Among the names shortlisted includes former Orlando Pirates coach Josef Zinnbauer, the current coach of JS Kayblie, owing to his experience with African football.
Al-Ghandour said the Zamalek management was leaning towards a European coach with a modern mindset.
According to El-Balad, the board were reviewing potential candidates and had cut the shortlist down to four managers. The board are reportedly leaning towards a Portuguese manager, while a Spanish coach has also been listed.

AS FAR Rabat coach Alexandre Santos is reported to be the most likely candidate to take over the team's technical leadership for the new season.
