Tanzania coach Charles Boniface Mkwasa was left dejected after his side succumbed to a 1-0 loss to Sierra Leone U20 to remain winless in their two games at the U20 AFCON.
Sierra Leone will face Amajita next in a clash on Tuesday night.
Following the loss, Mkwasa alleged that the Sierra Leone team were age-cheating and fielded players who were older than 20.
"Most of them, they are playing in the second division or first division," he said. "Compared to this Sierra Leone team. if you see them, they are a little bit bigger age-wise. It is not U20," Mkwasa told SABC Sport reporter Velile Mnyandu after the game.
The Ngorongoro Boys are set to face Zambia in their third group game before their final clash against hosts Egypt and the Tanzanians need two wins to stand a chance of qualifying for the knockout phase.
Zambia U20 head coach Boyd Mulandwa has responded to the allegations made by Mkwasa and the risks it pose to the sport, according to SABC Sport.
"On our side, we encourage our boys to keep on fighting," Mulandwa said. "It is a youth tournament and we expect youths to be playing against youths. If you bring people who are not in that category, it becomes difficult for others," he said.

"The others, they get intimidated by just looking at others and they can feel that 'this guy is older than me and it's going to be difficult for me to challenge him'," he added.
