With Pyramids FC recently showing interest in Lucas Ribeiro Costa, new reports from across the continent suggest that the Egyptian giants could now shift their focus to signing Relebohile Mofokeng.

The newly crowned 2024/25 CAF Champions League winners are not resting on their laurels as they prepare for the upcoming campaign.
Pyramids recently lost one of their star players, Ibrahim Adel, to Al Jazira, and it now appears they could look to offset his departure by targeting key players from the sides they beat on their way to continental glory.
While reports suggest that the pursuit of the Brazilian forward is unlikely to yield positive results, the same may be true for the 20-year-old South African. A source close to the Betway Premiership club is understood to have informed Egyptian outlet Sada El Balad of the rumours linking Mofokeng with Pyramids.
“Is Pyramids interested in signing Relebohile Mofokeng? All clubs in Africa are interested in signing the player, but if you ask anyone in South Africa, they'll tell you that Europe is their priority,” the source said.
“Mofokeng is a great talent and everyone in South Africa is counting on him. Coach Hugo Broos is always pushing him to go to Europe.
“We haven't received an offer from Pyramids, but money certainly remains crucial in deals. Of course, if he leaves, our desire is to move to Europe, but it will depend on the player's desire and then the financial compensation.
