Riveiro is currently with his side during pre-season training as he prepares for his first full season in charge of the Red Devils.
Following the disappointment of their FIFA Club World Cup campaign, attention is now firmly on the new season as Riveiro begins planning his squad with new signings and expected departures.
According to Al-Masry Al-Youm, the Spaniard already decided that the likes of Amr El-Sulaya, Ali Maaloul, Akram Tawfik, Rami Rabia, Karim Nedved, Yahya Attiyat Allah, Karim El-Dabis, Omar El-Saei, Khaled Abdel-Fattah, and Hamza Alaa would leave the club.
The former Orlando Pirates boss revealed that several young players would be allowed to leave the Red Giant on loan for the upcoming season as he was unconvinced of their technical qualities.
Young goalkeeper Mustafa Makhlouf will be allowed to leave as Riveiro is set to rely on Mohamed El-Shennawy, Mostafa Shobeir, and Mohamed Siha.
The 49-year-old also said Ahmed Khaled "Kabaka" would be allowed to go out on loan as he will be unable to guarantee regular minutes in the first team, while the former Bucs coach was reportedly unconvinced by Samir Mohamed's technical ability and was open to letting him leave.
