The Reds secured the 2024/25 English Premier League title to win their 20th league title and move level with Manchester United.
It was manager Arne Slot's first season at Anfield, and after a quiet transfer window before last season, the Dutchman has wasted no time in adding some firepower to his squad for the 2025/26 season as the Reds look to defend their title.
The Anfield side has already broken their transfer record by signing former Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Florian Wirtz for £116.5 million (including add-ons) (R2,7 billion).
The club's latest signing, Hugo Ekitike, also jumped into the top 10 list as he signed for a six-year deal close for £79 million (R1,8 billion).
Wirtz and Ekitike feature alongside some of the club's most important players, including captain Virgil Van Dijk and goalkeeper Alisson Becker, who broke the record transfer fee for a defender and goalkeeper back in 2018.
