Former Mamelodi Sundowns defender Lucas Suarez has made his debut at a new club.
The central defender spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Sundowns, but failed to establish himself as a regular and returned Argentine club CA Talleres.

The 30-year-old has since secured a move to Uruguayan outfit Liverpool Futbol Club.
The defender already made his debut on Thursday, as Liverpool defeated Durzano 3-1 in the Copa Uruguay.
The Uruguayan defender joins Liverpool on a season-long loan from Talleres.
Suarez made 11 appearances in the Betway Premiership for Sundowns last season, but was not included in the squad for the FIFA Club World Cup.
