Al Ahly are reportedly planning to make a special request for their upcoming Egyptian Premier League clash againstt African champions Pyramids FC.
The Cairo Red Devils started the defence of their league title with a 2-2 draw against Modern Future last weekend.

Coach Riveiro did receive a bit of criticism after the game, while he wasn't too elaborate when answering questions from the media after the game.
Al Ahly will face Pyramids in two weeks, but the club are now taking no chance with the big clash by asking for a different refereeing team.
Egyptian journalist Amir Hisham reported on "Plus 90" that Al Ahly are planning to make a request to the to the Egyptian Football Association to use foreign referees for the clash.
This is not the first time Al Ahly have made this request, as the EFA secured a Norwegian refereeing team for the Cairo Derby against arch-rivals Zamalek last season.

Both Premier League encounters between Al Ahly and Pyramids ended in a draw last season.
Al Ahly still have matches against Pharco and Ghazl el Mahalla before they lock horns with last season's runners-up in Cairo on 30 August.
