According to Pan-Africa Football, Kabuscorp's head coach, Beto Bianchi, claimed that he knows Amakhosi and was aware of the team's profile in Africa, but revealed he was not shaken by the matchup.
"Kaizer Chiefs is a traditional club in African competitions, but we have our arguments," Bianchi said. "Nowadays, soccer is pretty much equal. It will be tough for both teams,” he added, according to Pan-Africa Football.
The Brazilian said he knew South African football well, and he had a plan in place for the Naturena.
