Runner-up in FIFA's Goal of the Year award, Stephanie Roche, has just done the unthinkable by scoring another wonder goal!
The 25-year-old Irish forward came second to Colombia's attacking midfielder, James Rodriguez, in the 2014 FIFA Puskas award, but after another wonderful strike she could be up for the award yet again.
In last year's goal, Roche took only three touches before she smashed the ball into the back of the net from the edge of the box, but yes… you have guessed it, she has gone one better this year.
This time playing for her country, Ireland, Stephanie latched on to a cross-field ball, in which she only needed two touches to control before striking it in mid-air over the goalkeeper from range.
After the game, Roche told reporters that the team's coaches had requested that she and the rest of her teammates take chances when on offer, and she was just grateful the shot paid off.
"Sue (Ronan) and Paul (Martyn) and the rest of the staff have been telling us that we have to finish our chances," Roche told reporters, as quoted by the Daily Mail.
"I was glad that I had the opportunity to get the shot off. I gave Denise (O'Sullivan) a shout because I knew it was on my better foot, and luckily enough she left it for me and I managed to get it out off my feet and get a shot."
Do you think Roche deserves another nomination for her latest strike?
