Express Yourself

Foreigners playing for adopted countries.....about 10% of players in the World Cup were born outside the country they are playing for.

As we watching the currently underway World Cup I cant help but notice how a lot of teams have blended players who would otherwise be foreigners. The French team comes into the picture, Morocco had 17 players out of 23 not born in morocco, Tunisia had 9 foreign born players, Senegal has 9 with 8 of them born in France, Switzerland has 8 foreigners, portugal has 7, serbia has 5, Croatia and nigeria have 4 and Spain has 3. For many teams, the foreign-born share of players reflect the nation’s history. SA as a country is also a home to millions of our African brothers. We already having toddlers and new borns coming all the way from West , East and southern parts of Africa. All these kids will be raised here and most likely by 18 they will still b here in SA...other are born here already
