Youngsters Mduduzi Shabalala and Mfundo Vilakazi got the goals for Chiefs, but the Tunisian tactician has asked the supporters for patience.
"I think the [most important] thing about the game is three points," Nabi told SuperSport after the game.
"Team spirit and winning attitude, the new players I'm very happy. But I really have too much work, to cook, like what the fans [are saying]," Nabi said on SuperSport TV.
"Please give me time, lovely club, lovely fans, if you give me time I promise you I'll be cooking for you [what is worthy of] a big team. But I'm not very happy with too many things."
He continued, "It's a good thing we won the first game for the morale of the players and the fans but for myself, I have other eyes like the media.
"I know I have too much work here. Okay, congratulations for the attitude, for winning but I need [more] for Kaizer Chiefs.
"I'm not 100 percent [satisfied] but it's normal."
