Following news that Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly planning European tours, Mamelodi Sundowns won't be left behind in South Africa, the Siya crew has been informed.
Soccer Laduma recently reported how Chiefs are attempting to also organise a pre-season camp in Turkey, and now Siya sources have indicated what the Brazilians are hoping to schedule during the winter.

The sources added that Sundowns are hoping to set up an extensive pre-season training stint across Europe. Insiders close to the club's planning team have indicated that the Brazilians are expected to visit three countries: the Netherlands, Austria, and Germany.
The sources discussed how the preparation negotiations with various clubs across these countries are underway, focusing on training facilities and scheduling potential friendly matches.
"The preparations and negotiations with the teams they are proposing to play against are already at an advanced stage. They want to be in all the three countries because they want to be in Europe for at least three weeks. They are set to leave for the first week in July and come back after the third week so that they can come back and prepare for the MTN8. For them it's not the first time as they have been to the Netherlands before and they have good connections there," the first Siya source stated.
"As for Austria and Germany - they want a different environment as well," the source added.

A second insider highlighted the strategic importance of the tour in shaping the team for the upcoming season.
"The tour in Europe will help them build the squad for next season. They are planning to finalise the squad for next season with the players coming in and more of the ones they are going to release. So that's why they want to at least camp in Europe for three weeks," the second insider stated.
