Amid Barcelona's below-par performances in LALIGA and the UEFA Champions League, the club has reportedly come to a decision over Xavi Hernandez's future as its manager.

Despite the Catalan giants having suffered only two defeats across all competitions so far this season, sections of the club's support have voiced their concern with the team's recent displays.
Although they went into ElClasico at the end of October unbeaten, worrying signs that the side's confidence was beginning to wane appeared following a 2-2 draw with Granada and narrow victories over Athletic Bilbao and Shakhtar Donetsk.
Prior to those results, the Blaugrana had also beaten Sevilla and Porto in games that ended 1-0.
Xavi then saw his team frustratingly give up a lead against Real Madrid at home after two Jude Bellingham goals, before succumbing to a second loss of the campaign in their return fixture against Shakhtar last week.
This past weekend, meanwhile, the Catalans found themselves a goal behind less than a minute into a league match at home against Deportivo Alaves in yet another worrying performance that was later rescued by a brace from Robert Lewandowski.
Barcelona's form in recent weeks has led to suggestions that Xavi, who holds legendary status at the club for his service as a player, will not be immune to criticism from fans, some of whom booed the team's latest showing just minutes after the start.
Sporting director Deco, however, has insisted the club remains committed to the Spaniard's project.
"Xavi has our total confidence. 200% guaranteed," he told RAC1.
"I've no doubt that he's the best coach for Barça and for this project. He accepted the challenge of coming at an important moment and is the perfect coach to rebuild."

The 43-year-old has overseen 107 matches since his appointment at Barcelona in 2021 and has so fair claimed two pieces of silverware – the Spanish Super Cup and the LALIGA trophy in the 2022/23 season.
