With Mason Greenwood having scored three goals in 10 appearances so far in Spain this season, Getafe have reportedly made a new decision on the Manchester United loanee.

Reports suggest that the LALIGA minnows have been impressed with the 22-year-old and are hoping to keep the player beyond the 2023/24 campaign.
Greenwood joined the Madrid-based club on loan from the Red Devils in the transfer window at the start of the season after United ultimately decided it would be best for the forward to continue his career elsewhere.
According to The Sun, the Spanish side would love to hang on to the one-time England international and have internally discussed meeting United to discuss the possibility of signing him permanently.
However, a source told the British publication it is likelier that the English giants will agree to extend his loan deal as they recognise Greenwood is enjoying life in Spain.
This time, though, United may seek to secure a loan fee should they strike an agreement over a loan extension, after Getafe agreed to pay a small portion of his £75 000 (R1.7 million) wages for this season.
Greenwood's current deal at United expires in 2025, but it is thought the striker has no future at the club following his arrest in January 2022 on suspicion of attempted rape and assault.

The player has contributed to six goals in 10 matches so far in this campaign.
