New PSG Boss 'Makes' Shock Decision On Neymar

In a surprising turn of events, it appears the six-year relationship between Brazil's all-time top goalscorer and Les Parisiens could be approaching its end.

According to RMC Sport, the 31-year-old is one of five players PSG's new Spanish tactician and club sporting director, Luis Campos, have decided are now surplus to requirements.

The French publication claims that the skilful attacker was not present for training this past Tuesday and was not part of the club's official media day on Wednesday as he, Marco Verratti, Renato Sanches, Juan Bernat and Hugo Ekitike have all been told that Enrique will not be depending on them for the 2023/24 campaign.

Neymar has fully recovered from his recent ankle injury, scoring a brace against Korean side Jeonbuk FC in PSG's final pre-season match, but this seemingly did little to sway the club's decision-makers' opinion regarding his stay in the team, and they are now actively seeking to find a resolution regarding an exit for the prolific winger.

It is not only PSG who wants to cut ties with the ex-Santos wonderkid, though, as, according to UOL Esporte, Neymar is also eager for a departure from the French capital this off-season.

The two parties are now said to be exploring every possibility as far as finding a mutually beneficial solution, with the record Ligue 1 champions said to prefer a permanent sale of their record signing, although a loan deal and even a contract termination have been mooted too.

Saudi Pro League giants Al Hilal are said to be the team most interested in signing Neymar right now, but it remains unclear whether or not the South American would be open to a move to the Middle East just yet.
