The Red Devils have suffered from a lack of continuity throughout the season, with the Dutchman having to rotate his starting XI vigorously at various points of the campaign either due to suspensions or injuries.

The likes of Christian Eriksen, Antony, Anthony Martial, Marcel Sabitzer and Casemiro have all been missed at points during 2022/23 campaign due to the aforementioned factors.

Now, Argentine starlet Alejandro Garnacho is set to have a lengthy spell on the sidelines and it is the 18-year-old's latest injury which has prompted Ten Hag to take some subtle shots at the Premier League table-toppers, suggesting that Mikel Arteta has enjoyed a fully fit squad for most of campaign.

"When you see all season we have had some setbacks, every time we've dealt with it," the 53-year-old told members of the media, as per the Mirror.

"It's about the players who are available and every time there's a team on the pitch who deals with it.

"In just one game we had the squad available totally and I was able to pick my team, from a tactical approach, perfectly - that was against Manchester City at home this season.
