Bombshell Report: Zinedine Zidane Could Leave Real Madrid Again

Zinedine Zidane

An outrageous report from France has sent shockwaves through Spain, suggesting that Zinedine Zidane could once again decide to quit Real Madrid.

The news comes from soccerlink.fr, who reported that the Los Blancos coach is annoyed with club president Florentino Perez.

Zidane has reportedly not forgotten that Perez wanted to bring Jose Mourinho back on various occasions in the past, and Paul Pogba is another reason for the friction between the two men.

The French coach is said to be desperate to sign the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner, but Perez has seemingly not done all he can to get the midfielder to the Santiago Bernabeu.

As a consequence, Zidane is reportedly weighing up the possibility of stepping down a second time at the end of the season.

He had previously resigned from his post at Real in May 2018, after leading the club to three successive UEFA Champions League titles and nine trophies overall.

He did, though, return in March 2019 and has since added his 10th trophy as Real coach, after winning the Spanish Super Cup this year.

Meanwhile, the president of the French Football Federation, Noel Le Graet, believes Zidane is the perfect successor for current France manager Didier Deschamps.

Real currently sit at the top of LaLiga, three points ahead of second-placed FC Barcelona. They have lost just one game all season and conceded the least amount of goals in the league so far with just 13 strikes against them.
